UNIVERSITY ACCOUNTING BOOKS Papers 1-7 and an XBOX.

Postby ELG » Mon Dec 18, 2006 8:24 pm
Hello all,

I studied Accounting and Finance at University and letting my old books go.

They served me quite well. I got a 2:1 and I got exempted from the forst 7 papers of the ACCA.

I'm now taking my pro exams and just basically house clearing.

As part of the deal I also included my Xbox, DVD Remote and 20games and a brand new JanSport bag to carry it or the books in.

I suppose this is something more for a student.

Lots of quality Accounting books and something to relax with after.

I live in Harrow in North London (HA3) so if you live in London you can come by and pick it all up.

Ideally looking for £150 for everything.

After all, we are most us strangers to one another on here (and likely to remain so in most cases). Equally, I’m sure at least half the things said on here are embellished if not outright mendactious, so what difference does it make if the odd one of us is fictional?
The point is surely whether the posts are entertaining, not whether the poster is real

...romper has his moments...the rest are fine to be honest..though his character i cant stand is that tosspot Marve..ridiculous characterisation imo as if anyone could really be that much of a tosser..... :-) :hehe:

The thing I particularly like about the spoof handles is that it's terrifically annoying for some people, who shawl remane nameless, to be accused of being fakes.

then everyone can have a go and create a carnage of a posting day imo

I just fail to see the substantive difference between having a ludicrous and obviously fake board ‘persona’ such as Herb’s and actually being fake. The irony of someone like Herb then getting all arsey about a poster such as modd supposedly being fake when Herb himself is about as real as the Loch Ness Monster seems entirely lost on him.
I don’t mean to pick on Herb – there are plenty of others who are the same. It’s just that Herb is such an egregious example.

I bet he bought that to play with a chick.

I think I did the same.
