The krauts showed the way. congest the midfield and pressure the ball. Get your fullbacks up and cut down the angles.

The good news is that only a handful of teams have the personnel to do that for the full 90. We had a lot more space the last 30 minutes but couldn't find the equalizer.

Also, that strategery won't work when Walcott returns. We really lack the speed to get behind the defence without him. Never thought I'd say it, but we really miss Feo!

Last thought. Zonal Marking sucks!

he is at his best when players are running off him.

Problem today was that forward passes were piss poor. Simple balls were being given away and midfield players didn't have the confidence to get up and join Giroud, leaving him isolated and easy to pick off.

:yikes: :yikes:

We don't have the depth of squad to pick the team for the game. Plus we had illness.

We only lost 1-0 so not bad really at OT.

We are top of the league but need to increase the depth of the squad. Bendtner is not up to it, we need another DM and another good CH. Ozil, Cazorla and any other marquee signings we bring in during January can be subdued against Palace but need to step up to the plate in these big games

We are top of the league, we are top of the league

Wenger's tactics in the first half seemed to give them too much reverence. Sat deep, let them possess, maybe to hit them on the counterattack? Played Arsenal football in the 2nd half and were the better team
