Although under different circumstances it probably would have been exactly the same.

They contained us quite easily amd they dealt with giroud as though he wasnt even there. I cant remember him winning a single ball.

Not to fussed. If it lowers expectstions a touch then that is a good thing.

The forward passing was really poor, particularly from Ozil. With that lack of quality into the striker, no one in the midfield could make a forward run to support him
