I personally find it a lot nicer to use. No annoying pop-ups or installs when you shutdown, easier to add and remove programs, much much faster boot times. It's the small things that you get used to once you've used a mac and get annoyed by when you start using windows again.

Last week, Apple gave away a free upgrade to their latest version of their OS and it was simple and fail safe to download and install. Everything continued to work fine, no data was lost, applications even started off where they left off. Compare that to the pain of upgrading from XP to Windows 8

Far fewer viruses exist for Macs and it is harder to accidentally install them. It feels less bloated, less sluggish to start up, shut down, open applications etc
