Not sure about this , shots do not equate to dominance .Arsenal had more possession than Dortmund in both legs.Being that Arsenal got caught on the counter in the first leg it was only smart to be cautious in Dortmund.
A. Townsend has the most shots in the Epl but Spurs seem to have trouble scoring goals this year with loads of possession. Sometimes quality of the chances to score matters more. Dortmund is a great side but I believe both ties were in the balance.

to defend the goal. Whether it was a strategy or not we kept the ball a lot in the first half and were to an extent allowed to do so because it was in areas which didn't hurt them but it took the sting off their game.

our back four. Then they were really on top for the first 15 minutes of the second until we scored, when we took control. They came back a bit in the last ten minutes but we didn't do too badly at killing it off at the death.

People have been saying that the first half was crap because of the lack of chances but I thought it was technically very good from both sides. I don't know why some people think that good defending makes bad football. :shrug:

we were far inferior in both first halves , we deserved a draw in the first and probably also in the second , yes we rode our luck , but given our defending we probably deserved it . theire pressing meant we could not put passes together until they tired
