View Full Version : After today's match I'm not as fearful about the Manure meeting providing we're not "tired".

I don't understand tired as in exhausted, though. I consider myself slightly overweight, and not in ship shape, but I excercise. Sometimes I train pretty hard, interval training, which makes me tired. I can feel pretty rough the next morning, but usually, with a day of rest, or even just a day of easy jog, I'm in mint condition again. How can 90 minutes of interval training make professional sportsmen tired for 5 days afterwards?

but then if we'd got beat with Bendtner on the pitch Wenger would have been slaughtered.

But you heard him mention focus last night after the game. The players have had three games in a week that will have been mentally draining. Winning breeds confidence without doubt but ninety minutes serious concentration takes it out of you also.

And with respect nothing even vaguely similar to a training regime for a middle aged Nogman.

Trust me....United will running on fumes after 60 minutes on Sunday.

(the one player I'd really like to have a break) is involved in a properly competitive set of fixtures
