That was the most professional, mature and thought out performance.

Well done Arsenal.

Let's not start sucking each others dicks just yet.

Anyway, I thought you wanted Wenger out?

then get carried away and the players believe their own hype and then get sucker punched by lesser teams...

Tonight we actually played with some thought in the process.

And come end of the season and we have won fcuk all again then - yes - Wenger's position must come under question.

Steady in the first, with a consummate performance from the rhythm section at the back, without a single bum note, and while the string section in midfield were restrained and limited in the arrangement, reaching half time with no mistakes was a good start.

The second movement saw the headbangers at their best, but passion from the whole orchestra held it together until the searing moment when the soloists started the third, with amazing melodic interplay from Özil, Giroud and Ramsay to stun the audience and lead into the final movement.

It was here, towards the end of the piece that the genius of the conductor started to show. Tight, disciplined performances from the whole of the orchestra dominated the game and threated to score more, without overcomitting.

Yes, great tempo and passion from the whole ensemble will put this one down in history as one of Arsenals most memorable symphonies for literally weeks, Brian.
