How does that prove anything right? The fact we stood by managers even through tough times is surely a sign that we respected the role and did not adopt a knee jerk reaction to results. I know the era I mentioned was pre Champs League but I can't remember any period in our history where we have finished in the top four sides in England so consistently as we have under Wenger.
