Seriously Giroud has given us an extra dimension as a target man

He holds up play well, always wins his header and manages to get it to a team mate but when he plays his flicks and tries to dribble he frankly isn't that good. I still think Benzema would give us the best of both worlds but glad to have Giroud as an excellent squad player but not as first choice. I still remember the season Niall Quinn got his floor play improved by massive pre season practice. Not sure when it was but there was a definite improvement

I don't remember Giroud playing all these tricks last season. Maybe it is just a case of telling him to stick at what he does best

You cant see that the quick one touch interchanges are the basis of most of our attacking play at the moment? Giroud's interplay has gone up a gear this season, you sort of said so yourself.

I presume you want someone to get chalk on their boots and stick it in the mixer. Also, have you watched Benzema recently?

We need pace in the team but that can come from the wide attackers, it would be great to have another option but I dont honestly think that Benzema is a better player than Giroud.

As soon as we lose Olivier to injury you'll see how badly we miss him.

benzema is still young and yes struggling. I would take a risk on him but thankfully Aw is the manager.

I would rather start with Suarez who I believe fits the current style and have Giroud to come on as back up to ring the changes.
