I thought we were tremendous today, against a very dangerous Liverpool side.

Arteta was just the right mix of steel and brains, exactly what we needed, and Ramsey really is like having an extra half a player with the amount of ground he covers.

We struggled initially to cope with the unfamiliar formation they were playing but when we found our rhythm we looked like the ball belonged to us, which of course it did but you get what I mean.

Also, if anything the centre halves were better!

perhaps Johnson being there would have helped them, but they still kept getting out numbered....

2nd half they just got outnumbered in the midfield. Playing Suarez and Sturridge together was always going to be a risk.
