... stop giving me grief about the design of this place.

It's in the process of being reworked, but it's getting bloody harder by the minute to produce something that works on all devices seamlessly.

(And IE 11 is a piece of **** as well).

The ads are a necessary evil - no way can I afford to run the site ad-free.

Frankly I'd migrate it to new software, but then all the moaners would be complaining about no flat view (which forums seem to have dropped from their feature list these days), the fact that their post counts had reduced and other such trivial issues.

Just bear with me folks - pretty please

flatviewing as a valuable feature is devilishly sneaky and clever tbh

You should know better than leaving a space in the body of your post so it doesn't read n/t when you have just used it to get a smilie in there.

If Tree dummies want to waste their time clicking on each individual header to read the comments within that's fine by me.

I don't see many forums that have dropped flat view. It is more the other way around, tree view is a remnant of early basic messageboard software. But softs like vbulletin offer both modes plus a hybrid mode, but I don't think you and the other c^nts who prefer tree view would like the way it is implemented.

Vbulletin would save you a lot of admin hassle however and offer more User protection of emails and IP because of its security features.
