View Full Version : The Krauts are quite supporter-friendly. A bit like the English Premier League

and a whole bunch of mediocre ones and pump them full of tiger blood so that they play like top top ones. Easy economics.

They have a reputation of being efficient

whereby their low ticket price for the games also include a free ticket on public transportation from all the suburbs. It is almost like they give a signal that a football match should be affordable for everyone. Like it was in England in the 70's and 80's.

but that was of course back when the English managed to produce football players themselves and didn't have to buy the ones the Krauts had produced. :-)

They are practically a national team and treated as such for a start. As regards Dortmund - this is the same club that required a loan from Bayern to stay in business a few years back - possibly not the best example to follow from a financial point of view

as everyone moans, groans and fecks off early ...its like england at wembley.. or indeed when Arsenal were at wembley.. home games can be far more negative imo

Unless those who refuse to support the team stop going, and give up their seats to those that might, then the only difference it will make is less money for players. Perhaps we are cursed with too many really terrible fans who either abuse our players and make them play even worse, or are snobby spastics who despise atmosphere at football matches.
