was not as much as was being made out, particularly by Wilkins who is not biased at all

Fabianski was hardly under siege and us defending deeper and conceding more possession this year as keep shape is how we have committed to play now so I was not that bothered them playing in front of us and keeping possession but that only works if you do not GIVE away a sloppy awful goal.

The difference was just a few players where as Mata could feed off pretty much all around him, we tended to fail on likes of Bentdner and Mayaichi and Jenkinson who were all off pace completely tonight and they ended so many promising moves just on their own that our creative players could not step up the tempo.

Chelsea simply have a stronger squad than us and even if it was just a few players where difference was huge in comparison the end result was pretty inevitable.

A game like this should point out clearly where we need some help, at striker!! so if that is end result in we do something serious about that in January then it will be a result worth it.

Best squads in PL are Chelsea and City, the richest teams but still see us in there pitching for title if we get that striker, if not we will drift out of it, as that is where the difference really lied tonight.

thought midfield played well and worked hard until game was truly gone but time and time again possession and moves failed on Bentdner Myachai and jenkison, the right side was woeful.

Them 3 were very poor and 8 players will not beat 11.
