The worrying aspect is that these aren't exactly B list players.
Most would walk into a the majority of PL sides starting 11

I'd like to see some historic stats and data on it and listen to the conclusion Dr Neg comes to.

in the same way as missing Podolski, Walcott and Flamini are to us but I take your point about their list.
That still doesn;t address the other key challengers. Balloon head over at City is a real loss but I'm struggling to think of many more.

Certainly Vidic hasn't looked too convincing this season in relation to past glories.
MM's list for Chelsea, City, Spurs and Liverpool shows them some distance behind us in missing key players...including Flamini, of course ;-)
