the ball, as expressed in his Telegraph article. It has looked to me that we were vunerable for distinct periods of the recent games against struggling sides. This may be a strategy of sitting off and defending deep, and forcing shots from distance, rather than pressing higher up but it allows the opposition into the game and it seems wierd that we can't get hold of the ball.

Saying our goalie is crap seems a bit out of date though. The Polish Knight is playing well atm.

And the international break. The errors ae creeping back intoour defensive game but that might just be the tiredness as well.

When we drop physically we dont press the ball, we retreat. Too often this season i he felt we defend a little deep, sit back on the edge of the box inviting shots. We are a little slow to close the ball on the ede of the last third.

He is right that we need to start playing better. He can make the odd change here and there with cazorla and rosicky back.

We are not going to win the league but it is essentil to keep momentum. Fourth could demand the highest points tally ever this season.
