with the expected hangover the next day (you're not 18 any longer). I also noticed that you're planning a fish 'n chips lunch, obviously accompanied by a lager or perhaps even two.
How does this fit in with your training program? I thought you had become quite fit?

The point is that, by doing all that running, I am able to have days where I drink beer and eat fish and chips and not get fat.
Huzzah!

Exactly how I feel about it.
Tomorrow is Risk day with the lads from 3, followed by Risk-dinner with the wives at 7 in the evening.
I shall run 20 kilometres in the morning to justify it.
like to hit 30 minimum a week or 35..got a half marathon in fact next sunday..but question is will you run today or not ? i might not bother and just do a 8 miler tomo ..or maybe do a little 2 mile one at 6pm just to lift the guilt

Or are you just eating and drinking a lot of things past their use-by date?
If it's the latter, I've got a tin of duck confit you may be interested in?

We play once every second month, always on a Thursday, just the lads. Lots of alcohol and food.
Every now and then we invite the ladies, after the game. We're sloshed by the time they arrive.

I play lots of football and am quite fit at the moment but I doubt I could run 3 miles. It bores me tears. Do you enjoy it? Why are you doing it?

When I go for a run I get agitated after 10 minutes and want to give up.
