The plastics just aren't up to it, you see? Besides, if you actually wanted to make a gun, you can acquire metal and second-hand machine tools very easily. And that would actually work.

What he's potentially got there is a low-quality prototype of a gun.

Would also making sending parcels easy.

Next step teleportation . Which I have ruled out as not possible.

Oh, and nothing you print off using an affordable 3D printer will actually work. But other than that, it's great.

less than that are just protype/samples and not that good quality even for that..its still long way off being really actually useful

a side affect of the machine for human use is these people are highly radioactive and give babies cancer.

Their conclusion was that metals are the only materials suitable for production at this stage. And those are only practical for very short runs of things with geometries that mean you can't make them any other way.

It's an exciting technology, but not for the reasons the average person who's only read news reports thinks it is.

Of course, you could make an argument that Cocaine isnt exactly Fair Trade but I think that fits very well with the people who are keen on it.

There's nothing intrinsically immoral about drugs, there's just plenty of immoral things about the prohibition of them.

You have taken an inference that wasn't inferred.

I am just surprised I can have my morals questioned by somebody encouraging the production of class A narcotics.

Whereas I made a joke about printing drugs. Perhaps I should have mentioned personal use only?

That is where you have fallen down in your argument. You know fall well I do not fcuk young girls. You have met my long term girlfriend who I am 100% faithful to.

Ergo, it was a joke about fcuking a 16 year old. So you chose to joke about drugs, I chose to joke about sex with 16 year olds. Ironically, the difference is I will not carry out my joke.

who am i to judge if it 'moral' or not..its someone f**king someone else...just the same as someone can f**k off if they tried to judge me about doing drugs, how one earns a crust, etc,etc.. its all very judgmental to say yes to one and not the other esp as ones legal so someones done the moral hardwork and calculations already

They should be based on utilitarian principles but that would open a whole new can of worms.

Berni
10-25-2013, 10:25 AM
no-one other than yourself and therefore has no more moral ramifications than one's decision to have a pint or eat a chocolate éclair.

The decision over whether or not to have sex with a 16-year-old, on the other hand, involves marve as a fully-grown man
in his thirties deciding whether or not it is ethical for him to parlay his greater experience of the world (and by the same token, exploit her relative lack thereof) in order to have sex with someone who - but for a few months - would still be a child. That is a moral choice.

And no. Law is not based on moral guidance. This is the myth religions have been peddling for yonks. They are generally based on the retention of property and on punishing and deterring the fundamental crime of theft, whether that be of life, goods, liberty, innocence, money or sex.

into navy at 15...everyones different..i boffed a 19 yr old when i was late 30's.. not much fun tbh ...having vacant doe eyes looking up at you all felt a bit pointless and boring..but moral compass ? i prefer the magnetic ones tbh

Berni

the exploiters? The old 'no-one misses a slice off a cut loaf' model? Really? Because you could justify an awful lot of appalling behaviour on that basis.
