This means millions of UK viewers will be able to watch the Saturday lunchtime London derby between Crystal Palace and Arsenal on October 26th (kick-off 12:45pm).

Arsène Wenger's side have enjoyed a fine start to the season, and currently sit joint top of the table with 16 points after seven games.

With the likes of Aaron Ramsey and new signing Mesut Özil hitting top gear, the Gunners have also enjoyed fine wins against Fenerbahce, Marseille and Napoli in Europe.

By contrast, Ian Holloway's Crystal Palace sit in the Barclays Premier League relegation zone, with just one win so far on their top-flight return.

The under-fire Palace boss will hope his new-look side gels soon, with Martin Jol's Fulham the next visitors to Selhurst Park.

With games against West Brom, Everton, Hull and Norwich coming up for the Eagles, ex Blackpool-boss Holloway will be seeking an immediate upturn in his side's fortunes.

Crystal Palace v Arsenal is just one of the 38 Barclays Premier League matches to be broadcast live by BT Sport in 2013-14.

Honestly, it's all far too difficult.

I was going to have the tartare, followed by the choucroute, then perhaps Kaiserschmarn. A bottle or so of Burgundy to wash it down and all would have been golden.

Looks like hot dogs and a miserable defeat, then.

Green split peas can usually be got from yoghurt-weaving shops like Holland & Barrett or that other one - Julian Sands or something?

I shall sit around and drink Bloody Marys. Until midday, when it will be time for proper alcohol.

That'll be alright, won't it? Canning is pretty much foolproof, isn't it?

I guarantee it.
