Dortmund fans are superb enough as it is, but with the drum, not only was the Teutonic synchronisation tightened even further (and playing/singing music in time always makes it sound LOUDER), but it made it harder for our own fans, at least those able/willing to try giving some support, to sing against it. It’s also bloody annoying sitting at that end of the ground and having that thing hammering your eardrums for 90 minutes.
