He inspires man ! He inspires !!

He's got them all to raise their game. Something that old Prof has forgotten how to do over recent years.

It's quite incredible how much we've gained from monkey boys move to RM.

It was all planned of course :-)

Still think Flamini is just an average squad player?

player (in a position you would doubtless have claimed was low priority) and enjoy a promising start to the season against largely mediocre opposition and you change your mind.

Surely you must acknowledge how silly that makes you look?

He's done very well for a nasty little *******.

I also hold the view that we always needed a gritty ******* in midfield to galvanise the troops and not leave the defense so exposed.

I just didn't really want it to be him

and £40 million quid of course.

The solution to our groundhog seasons was always about investing more quality in the squad.

Now I don't really care that our good fortune was more down to luck than anything else but let's not delude ourselves it was all a carefully hatched plan ?

The Saurez thing was a punt that did't come off and had we not signed Ozil, who can say if player confidence would be on the level we have today.

All about being in the right place at the right time.

for years on end, so why do you now want him to stay?

and good luck to him.

One thing about fans or stakeholders. They don't really care much about how you get the results.
They tend to leave you alone a fair bit when you do tho'

that we would make one marquee signing in a position we don't need strengthening, make no additions to the defense or attack (leaving us with those carthorses Mertesacker and Giroud) and only bring in a free transfer to bolster the midfield.

Not so much shifting he goalposts as uprooting them and lobbing them in the nearest tip.
