one of very few remaining areas of London you can get value for money that isn’t a total ****hole, and is next on the list for gentrification. On the few occasions I’ve been around there not for an Arsenal game, I’ve been almost certain I’m going to get stabbed.

I used to live on the Seven Sisters Road 20 years ago, opposite the old Rainbow, and it was much, much worse then. Gang-fights all the time, shops with man holding tree-trunk at the door for security. Yardie gangsters and Irish wife-beaters for neighbours. :-

It seems relatively serene now.
