View Full Version : I have enjoyed *some* of Dave Gorman's work on 'Modern Life is Good-ish', but

does this wife of his, whose intelligence he routinely mocks, actually exist? He's not averse to the odd terminological inexactitude, after all, and it would be rather cruel to subject the woman he loves to such ridicule.

I do like his 'found poems' though - from the below the line newspaper comments.

He narrated it and was, frankly, dreadful. It was like listening to a dead man.

Turned me right off.

I've sort of enjoyed the series though I do feel it could do with being 50% shorter. Mind you, I feel that way about Stuart Lee so he's in good company.

they should have left out the boring silent bits of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I've never been to a live podcast.

Though they could just write 'Stuart repeated "Bob Carolgees' false arm" a further 37 times before moving on to the third joke of the hour'
