Definitely did not play anywhere near as well as Rooney.

a routine save and a save that was only made possible by a goalkeeper's positioning and movement.
For example, the save from the downward header at his near post 'could' be considered routine, but I'm not sure it was...
good footballing skills and bad ? glad we cleared that up tbh

Without control of the centre you're doomed and it wasn't till Carrick took control that England were able to outplay Poland. Top class Gilberto display from him.
should have been Jack on instead of Lampard

rest of the ITV mob were circle jerking fiercely about 'Stevie G', 'Lamps' and sundry other second and third-rate c*nts?
Sorry, but I really can't bear any coverage of the England team. It makes me squirm with embarrassment.

Within 5 minutes of coming on, he managed a yellow card and gave away the ball three times.
103 caps and he'll be 36 by the time Brazil comes around.
Lampard - just not good enough, can't pass and runs like he's wearing lead boots
Sturridge - Embarrassingly one-footed
Welbeck - Just a very average player
Townsend - Same thing as Bale, everyone seems happy to show him onto his left but still looks a decent player as I said when he was on loan at QPR
Rooney - I'd like to see him at Arsenal, he's a quality player
PJ & Cahill - Press don't like them but doing a decent job and considerably better than the alternatives
Baines - Better than Cole

I shall be sure to steal your opinions in any polite conversations I'm forced to have in which people assume I care about the fortunes of the England team (apart from the bit about Rooney, of course - I shall say he's a 'ticking time bomb', 'a liability' or some similarly clichéd nonsense that suggests he's a bit of a c*nt).

One of them is still **** though. You can guess which one
it's as though no side ever created a chance or scored when Terry and Ferdinand were CBs

which is somehow Cahill and Phil's fault

It is technique, decision-making and reflex/agility that make a save really stand out.
I didnt see the game :-)
he WAS the best LB in the World, his time has been and gone
