Just joking.

So let's say the missus and I want to "experience" the whole walking from pub to pub thing. Staying at B&B's whilst traipsing 'round the countryside. The whole bit.

1) Can you get the experience in 2 days and 2 nights?

2) Assuming you can go around 15 miles-ish a day, can an adequate round trip jaunt be planned? Do you need 3 days?

You can have a reasonable experience in 2 days covering 15 miles a day - it's not an overly big place, just be prepared for rain, fog, sleet, hail and depending on the time of year, snow. Also, unexploded ordnance on the ranges, cattle and bogs/marshes may pose problems. Overall it's a lovely place but needs preparation. There are loads of excellent pubs serving great ale and food. Get in touch if you do come

I'd be in it for the Real Ale and the pub atmosphere. Not expecting much from the food, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised?

Shirley enough seafood around to make a great meal.

Anyway, looks like our kind of thing from the travel journos on telly. However, as you say, prepare for the elements.

If we do, wouldn't think about missing you for a grand meet up. Perhaps you can buy me a pint.
