If I recall he left Adams and Rocastle behind. So no Theo then.

Arsenal have done ok improvising with central midfielders playing in wide positions, but this hardly makes our wingers obsolete. Remind yourself how many goals Theo scored last season, and what a promising young footballer The Ox is, and try thinking again.

ie I won't be surprised if one or the other goes particularly as Gnabry seems to be coming through as well. I am disappointed that Ox hasn't come on quicker but he is still young and also disappointed that Walcott can't be described as an automatic first choice any more.

So rash and ill considered no. More informative than your comment and Montys perhaps even if you don't agree. why don't you try a well reasoned rebuttal instead of an insult. May generate a bit more respect, you never know

I initially accused you of a kneejerk reaction (an England player hitting the bar), which is not an insult as it refers to your position rather than you personally. I then went into reasoned detail:

I pointed to Theo's excellent goal tally last season, and to our improvisation without wingers. You didn't address either point. A decent game or two from Gnabry is good news, as it shows we potentially have some depth coming from the youth set-up. Competition for places is good, it doesn't mean that the injured player is no longer required.

You talked about buying in January - but surely the expectation there is for another striker and *maybe* a squad CH or perhaps RB if Sagna is to move into the centre. Suarez is far more likely to go to RM, btw. Liverpool are not selling him to us - or did you miss that?

Or supposed to be. In any event your knee jerk response was to my surplus comment not to the bar comment. By insult I was referring to Monty in particular.

That was what I initially reacted to. If you really want to stand by that then go ahead.
