A French language Canadian movie about an unfeasably naive 20 year old fanatical woman runner who wants to go to McGill Uni in Montreal to compete on their track team but cannot get a scholarship so marries the washer-up from her after-school waitressing job so they can collect a government handout for married people.
The wife's choice. But in my view unremittingly depressing.
