A "weaker" currency means your stuff is cheaper there, and is preferred for net exporters...so preferred that China has for 10+ years cheated to keep their currency artificially weak.

Strong means its cheaper to buy foreign stuff, but your stuff is less desired abroad.

So which is better? Depends.
