View Full Version : People might not like this, but with Flamini sat in front of the two centre backs, what does Arteta

offer that Flamini doesn't?

I know we were forced into playing Ramseyhim out wide due to injuries against West Brom, but I can't help but think Gnarby may have been a better option there.

He does the simple things very well and keeps us moving, but with Flamini and Ramsey there I see him as very much third choice.

Also, I know Arteta played a more advanced role at Everton, did he ever play out wide there?

There's a touch of a Norman Bates when he smiles though.

A performance seen by many as being nearly complete, the words total football chucked around at one stage. The duo of Flamini and Arteta being the almost perfect midfield platform that allowed the more fleet of foot fancy-dans weave their magic.

It’s almost as if West Brom was a totally different game, which amazingly is what happens in football.
