View Full Version : ramsey back on the wing now that arteta is back - good or bad?

I personally believe putting arteta back in the centre, which pushed ramsey back out to the wing, has hampered both his play and the development of flamini to ramsey to ozil...

if it was working so well, why change it?

anyone else agree? disagree?

of making this same mistake over and over again. Arsene's biggest mistake is, he doesnt learn from his mistakes.

i think that single change contributed to our lack of play and apparent disjointedness in the midfield yesterday... now i wonder what we'll do when Santi returns... if its not broken, don't fix it

Arteta is ****, his place in the team confuses me. Seems to be adored by a lot of fans yet defensive midfield pre flamini was always the area deemed one of our main weaknesses. Second rate footballer not getting any younger, should stick to the bench.

just as much as he loves not to 'kill' young players.

We should have the equivalent of Monreal for right back if we want to win a title. Then he could have afforded to gamble with Gnabry on the right. I guess he didn't want to risk gnabry and jenkinson together.

Keep Arteta on the bench, we haven't missed him.

agreed with the premise on pecking order and iceman's (seemingly a raikkonen fan :) ) follow-up... i think having him come off the bench is better when we need an extra holding midder and that's where he should start (on the bench, that is)... trying to find stats but i'd like to see his completion rate vs ramsey's and how many touches / link-up passes to ozil he made (any number crunchers have access to such data to share? please do!) ...

i think we're strong with flamini back as the holding midder and having arteta in the mix fouls that up - there didn't seem much communication between the two as well as uncertainty with players going foward as to whom to look at for flow of play...

And that's about the limit to him as a player, never going to be a first team title winning player

You genuinely think Arteta is a title winning midfielder?
