with Cameron's idea of no benefits for under 25s? Especially with the plan to make anyone under 25 learn or work, so there'll be even more graduates competing for jobs.

That is the Irish model.

I'd love to see just how much their attitude will change.

Do they seriously think this vigour with which they are f**king people is going to impress potential voters? People are hurting out there and they just seem intent on turning the screw more and more.

Wanted by An Garda Siochana as opposed to being part of the media labelled brain drain.

Perhaps also up to his oxsters in debt to Irish banks, a victim of the good times as he lay brand new decking over every inch of his Wexford home.

Got an extra bedroom? f**k you. Child over sixteen living with you? f**k you. Have a sick relative you provide care for? f**k you. Training to get out of the hole you're in and have a better life? f**k you.

PS Is Ballylemon anywhere near you? I'm just wondering how often george pops over to the old ancestral home for a pint with the lads from the village.

So nowhere near me.

Must say I have never heard of it as an actual real place.

Maybe he spends more time with the peasants at his other Irish Baronetcy in Ballentaylor.

Irish Baronetcies, eh?

The UWV WERKbedrijf (administrative office for employed persons) system outlines that initial unemployment benefits are paid out at 75% of your last earned wage for the first two months and 70% thereafter depending on your circumstances.

However, you should be aware that the unemployment benefit is not a welfare benefit and subsequently there is a minimum term of 3 months and a maximum term of 38 months. During this time you are required to look for work and show proof of application.

To be eligible for the unemployment benefit you must meet the "26 out of 36 weeks" ruling criteria, which states that you must have been employed for a minimum of 26 out of 36 weeks before your first day of unemployment, and be under 65 years old and able to work.

somewhere to live closer to home while he looks for employment. While he was away mum and dad had to move to a smaller place because of the bedroom tax so Timmy can't go home. He can't get any help from the government to help pay rent for a place he has found.

Politics in general holds zero interest to me, domestic and foreign.

What the f**k is he doing going to university? Wouldn't he be better off working to help his parents achieve some dignity and independence from state charity?

Read a fascinating book about how the honours of conquest were handed out, and the quotas which determined what you got.

them to a secondary school pupil standard. Four hours a day, 5 days a week. Once i'm a decent level should be easier for me to find work. It would probably have been easier if i was in Stockholm or Gothenborg where there's a lot more jobs for english speakers (hardly any here) but i'm closer to the north than the south :-

The fact I barely scraped a C in GCSE Spanish suggests that I would probably fail miserably anywhere without the English language - how stereotypical :-(

f**king rubbish at German and French but i only ever did it for a few hours a week in school and even then i didn't pay attention. I'm surrounded by the language here so i'm always hearing it and picking it up, and i get the girlfriend to only speak to me in Swedish, even if i have no f**king clue what she's saying half the time :hehe:

Try to make your kids concentrate on math and physics, chemistry too. Best thing you could do for them.

Bit high horsey. I am drunk I think.

And in a parallel universe another Timmy uses some of his student grant/loan (one would imagine he gets both since his parents are poverty stricken and in social housing) money to help his parents out with their bedroom tax. Timmy finds a part time job at university to support his studies and when he is really strapped for cash he cuts down the boozing and learns to live on a budget. Timmy really matures from his time at university and goes home ready to contribute to the real world, his attitude impresses employers and he finds full time work and helps support his mum and dad.

He meets a girl, falls in love yada yada yada
