(i) If a Player accumulates five cautions in FTCM between the opening day of the
Playing Season and 31 December (including any FTCM played on that day) in the
same Season, he will be suspended automatically for a period covering: -
One First Team Match

When they move to 10 cards if they are accummulated before and including the second Sunday in April that is 2 game ban.

Now Arteta is back if Flamini is rested as he will have to be or suspended you can just put Wilshere or Ramsey as base player alongside Arteta as both can play that position readily also.

Flamini is obviously the most disciplined in that position but we have plenty of cover in all the midfield positions.

When watch Flamnini play who is a decent and solid footballer but who is smart and disciplined (positionally, not always in a tackle!) on a football pitch, and who simply understands his capability to the maximum and does not go beyond it, you see how poor Alex Song was positionally, and another of reasons glad we got Flamini as murmerings of Song returning was scaring me.
