In case you weren't aware, we've averaged 51% of possession over our 6 league games so far. Aren't we historically a team who keeps the ball and dominates possession in games?

are influenced by the fact that we have spent the majority of our matches in the lead.

It is normally when we are trying to probe teams that we build up our possession stats. Inevitably, when we have the lead, the opponents are going to be more audacious and have more of the ball.

As I understand it, it was all Swansea in the final 10-15 minutes on Saturday.

The highest possession we had was 68% against Sunderland where we led for 60 of the 90 minutes.

I first got a sense of it at Sunderland last season when you almost got a feeling that we were revelling in the last ten minute bombardment and were happy to cede possession, confident in the belief that we could see the game out.

Beyond this, in terms of an actual change in strategy that is resulting in us seeing less of the ball, then no I don't think so.
