View Full Version : I actually find the prevailing air of positivity amongst our fans right now

even more puke-inducing than when we're struggling.

When you think of the sickening abuse the club and Wenger in particular was receiving just a few weeks ago.

Highs and lows. more lows than highs usually.

Make the most of it.

and I don't understand why people shouldn't have been able to pick up a half-decent eye for the sport after watching it for years on end.

Is actually more of a reflection on your own intellect than it is of others.

way it's quite exciting.

It's like a brand new team.

Plus we appear to have a new confidence about us defensively. I was quite confident we'd see it through to the end of the match without Swansea scoring another. In the past i'd be all nerves.

For example Professional wrestling. I know far to much about it.

To the point where I knew what was happening next.

So therefore I can't enjoy it like a normal person does*
But one occasion I decided to go and have a laugh at the show and pretend like I was just a normal fan. had a good laugh.

*I do realise professional wrestling has a certain type of fan

Did you just say "a professional wrestling fan"?

I even scripted out the whole show once for a UK promoter.

What with all his experience of winning the league and such

Monty91

so it is not that outrageous a statement, if he simply thinks Spurs (for example) are stronger than us.

Why are posts I've made on Awimb appearing on the comments page of the Online Gooner?

So I don't think their new signings have gone under the radar so far...

"We've sold Elvis and bought The Beatles"

So why has nobody counterbalanced their argument that Spurs are incredibly strong by pointing out their star centre forward can't score?

Monty91
09-30-2013, 08:55 AM
by dint of our superior recent history, and the fact that none of their signings are household names.

Spurs striving to make the top four is far less of an interesting story than Arsenal potentially dropping out of the top four, which is why our negatives are played up more than theirs.

The abuse Wenger was getting was an over the top reaction to events of the time, similarly the mood now is a reflection of events.
