other teams had previously done so, thinking £10 to £20 on 60,000 heads was a decent set of gate receipts to share. THFC disagreed and insisted the same amount be charged as for the league game.

As a result we put down a formal policy for the League Cup at the start of the following season so there is no discretion anymore.
