Some make it, others don't. His attitude seems to have been his downfall - although it may, even now, be a little early to write him off.

Of course I always thought Bendtner was a **** though.

Dutch Gooner

we need a back up striker for Giroud at the moment...and he could fill that in I believe (if fit)........after that he can f*ck off once we have bought Benzema or Rooney

'He's f**king ****.' The people who fail to appreciate this difference are generally 1) uneducated and 2) common.

the team sheet, whereas others, myself included, couldn't see past all the running and the multitude of pointless three yard sideways passes.

It is indeed, a fine line.

to 'their' players and often revel in their failure - does this mean they have no loyalty to anything? Do they delight in their kids failing their exams? Their wives being made redundant? Are they twisted?

I dont understand what makes you tick and i certainly dont understand taking against a player for the colour of his boots.

I think anybody who saw a young Bendtner thought he had a big future, the problem was so did he.

lack of chances of course could come down to not being good enough of course, but he would have had decent runs in the team only to get injured at the same time as RvP

It's daring to put your head above the pulpit in a way that distances you from others through mocking elitism.

That's something that needs to be earned.

As a fan, no matter how long he spent on the treatment table, you instinctively never doubted his class and ability.
Perhaps that's the difference. On a lesser note, it's why I can't bring myself to write of Diaby. Although, I'm probably more marginalised on that issue.. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif

Can't say I noticed anyone really ripping into the lad.
A few doubters in terms of his rehabilitation but thankfully, he's prompted many to re-think.
Equally a bit premature, after half a dozen games to assume that form will continue through to next May.

You'd have had it ripped out of you wearing those on the flats or the hackney marshes, unless you were a bit special.
May have got away with them in the home couties perhaps :rubchin:

It was a side of his game I could never get my head around.

At times, it was almost as if he was afraid to do anything with it after he'd taken possession.

It's a world of instant success. It's not the 70's where we just accepted a squad of 14 players and just got on with it.
Now we all have squads of 25 plus and if a player isn't cutting it within a season, he's shipped out on loan.
That gets absorbed into the fans and huzzah, and suddenly we're all expendable.
There's a middle ground where the more discerning will show patience and nurturing but people want success.
The only way to really shut the fans up is by doing it on the field. WD Ramsey

I don't mean just you, of course. I mean all of your ilk.
