referees. It is also well documented that Fergie had pressuring & playing refs as part of his plan to give them an edge. He did it very well even if it is against the spirit of the game.
We must remember most refs are as thick & gullible as the players they referee.
Wenger deserves great credit for always insisting that he does not speak to referees outside of match day. Probably works against him but there you go.

what has always angered me & Poll admitted this too. Is that refs have a plan before each game, what to look out for etc. Which is outrageous from the point of view that they should go out there & ref one team in one colour against another in a different colour without prejudice.
