After all, we made a bid for one top drawer striker and were, by all accounts, close to signing another. This doesn't sound like the actions of a guy who didn't think of bringing in a top striker.

Perhaps he could have done better to get a squad banker type striker in earlier - although he did get one of those, but is injured. If AW thinks Park is too **** to play then maybe he should have got a second squad striker.
