wasn't either a very camp, middle-aged gay man or a hard-faced, post-menopausal battleaxe? They seem to have cornered the market - at least on short-haul flights.

Not that I'm complaining. I play well to both these demographics, which resulted in me getting several extra gin and tonics from a swarthy gentleman called Ricardo on my flight back from Budapest last night. And all I had to do was smile sweetly at him. Huzzah!

They even talk old fashioned. Alright love the flight is pretty empty so if you want to sleep in the middle move wherever you like and we'll get you a nice drink so you can have a good sleep.
