like air miles etc? I've taken plenty of flights but get f**k all. But unfortunately it seems over the next few months I will have to take plenty of flights around.

It's like a perpetual coupon, with some perpetually tight c**t swiping their miser card at hell's checkout.

puzzling. Can't be seen to be poor, even though everyone knows we are.

It's just as affected as Monty's menu to be honest.

A chap, whatever his station in life, should give the impression of nonchalance at all times.

Most people i know use BA because they fly virtually everywhere. If you fly a lot, and can get to silver status, BA do upgrade you wuite a lot.

I use emirates because i like the airline. It has taken me two years to get to silver with them but as soon as i qualified i got upgraded to business on the first flight. I also have a ****load of miles with them which i use for upgrades. As silver i now get to use the business class lounge as well.

It is well worth doing but only if you focus on one airline. Little pockets of miles in different schemes is pointless.

I have been plucked from the hell of economy three times in the last two months and get to use the business lounge in dubai. Free beer and somewhere to smoke.

Whybon earth would i turn my nose up at that?

Virgin's premium economy is much better than BA

somewhere quiet with TVs, work stations and free newspapers. Walked in with my little green M&S plastic bag containing a fruit salad and a sandwich. Looked around, smiled and fúcked it straight in the bin.

so I am just curious about it.

Plus with my US flights in the past few years I've been taken loads.

Are there any schemes with the Star Alliance carriers?

If its short haul you should look for an airline that does that and long hauls. BA might be your best option.

I hate them but some people swear by them.
