Very occasionally you'd get Murray Walker commentary but most of the time it didn't work.

Then when I started Die Hard you'd get a weird mash of Murray Walker noises whilst it loaded up.

I blame Sir Clive's no doubt cheap RF modulator rather than the TV. But at the time, it was the TV that went back and we got a Sony Trinitron instead. A design classic in its own right...

Remember Adidas Power soccer. I remember there was one spot about the 3 line in the grass patern pass the half way line you'd be able to lob the keeper sometimes.

Early PS fifa games were like that. goals from the same spot everytime.
