Do any of you nice folks have one of these?

I had a Polti one for about 3 years. I think it broke about 3/4 times in that period. Out of guarantee now so I have chucked it away.

So on Saturday I bought a Bosch one from John Lewis which didn't work out of the box. So I took it back and bought a different model Bosch one from Curry's yesterday which had a different fault but also didn't work out of the box. I am trying my third different model tonight, but surely I can't be that unlucky. Are these things just a piece of shít that rarely work?

But they can't iron my normal clothes in the way I like them ironed. I don't even trust Mrs Marve with that.

then it got really clogged with limescale, kept firing light brown **** all over my clothes, became tiresome to maintain and empty. Now it lives in my garage and i use the old won. I bought a fairly expensive one as well because i wanted to operate heavy machinery whilst ironing my workshirts

I hope that raging environmentalist, Frimmers, sees this. He'll be very impressed.

First one never produced any steam even though the light was on to say it was ready. Second one didn't suck any water into the tank and just said the filling tank was empty the whole time. Electrical supply was fine and iron soleplate was working fine on both.
