parenthood and syria, and am about to dip into a brilliant contemporary book exploring man's relationship with death. Meanwhile thirty degree sun is beating down on me and each time i raise my hesd i have stunning panoramic views of florence to enjoy.

Oh and having traipsed around museums yesterday and hiked up mountains the days before, I reckon I've earned this "boredom".
