Why is ozil glamour yet cazorla was not?

What does redgunamo mean below when he says we wanted a glamour signing?

Flamini is a quality signing, Ozil is both quality and glamour.

Cazorla was simply not as widely known and appreciated before his arrival. There is also the glamour of taking one of the best players in Europe from one of the truly biggest clubs in the world, if not biggest. Cazorla was again none of these.

I'd be more comfortable with the term 'adequate', at this stage.

But I guess the difference was that Ozil played for Real Madrid and everyone remembers him from the 4-1 against England, whereas Cazorla was probably less well-known to the average English football fan.

Plus Ozil cost £43 million and Cazorla cost about a tenner.

Could of course turn out to be ****, so could Ozil. Who knows with any transfer.

JS Veron for example was one of the best of his type in the world, in the end he was a useless ********.

Quality v Adequate, perhaps that is just my ever present generous nature shining through.

to hold down a regular midfield slot but performed admirably when thrown in at LB as cover.

We all see things differently..

understand how good he must be.

Wives use this principle when shopping for clothes with their teenaged daughters.

midfield which was five points clear in March that season. He was a terrier by nature too, so the others didn't need to be.

I still blame him for the dropped points at Birmingham though.

As opposed to the preceding 3-4 seasons of mediocrity, a career with us that led to him being freely available to leave with the manager’s permission.

p.s. I know he was part of the defence in the 2006 CL.

Price tag, what club they come from, name value.

Cazorla to be honest I didn't know anything about when we signed him.

Enough to kill the careers of both Diarra and to a lesser degree Gilberto. The hope is I suppose that he can now reproduce that.

the fact that whereas others suffer nerves and have doubts, he is always genuinely delighted to be a professional footballer and therefore absolutely nothing can phase him.
