about the signing of Ozil, even Adrian Durham has said he can't wait to see him play and thinks it's an amazing piece of business. It won't last but loving it while it does

Ancelloti apparently was not impressed with his training and commitment. One of the reasons for his exit allegedly

Ozil can't hide the defiencies in other areas that were not addressed in the transfer window

Of course, it could be the media plotting to pump him up, only to knock down the collective team.

Certainly the most exciting.

City have bought well but none really give you a hard on.

Half a Gareth Bale pricewise, f**k me.

Still, a free transfer of a player out of contract as opposed to a 40m player in his prime from Real Madrid.

f**k me.

Still should have bought a striker mind you.

The reacharound crew on here for months and more would readily mock any person that suggested a signing showing "intent" or "ambition".

Is it now acceptable?

watch the knives come up as soon as Giroud's injured or suspended or we don't win anything.

Wenger has made him feel wanted or whatever.

Still cannot understand how Ancellotti could not fit him in at Madrid or deem him surplus. Our gain all the same.

It was the suggestion that He didn't know what He was doing that caused the unrest.

as I said earlier, Ronaldo will be down a year left on his contract next summer and this sale won't him any more likely to sign a new one......can't see us beating of PSG, Monaco, City, etc though

Post Bale Real will want a few million more than the absolutely f**king ludicrous fee that paid for the Welshman.

If we spent 40 again next summer I would be pleasantly surprised, we don’t need to anyway.

We couldn't spend the 10th highest transfer fee of all time, 5 years ago. Of course we sold Adebayor and Toure for £40M. In theory the money was there, whether it was available for transfers is a different question

Clearly I don't mean the Capital One Cup or whatever it is called now.

Part of me thinks we may have struggled to get Ozil had Ferguson still been in charge in Manchester, their track record for winning things could have been a factor.

We need to win things now.

and 5 or 6 very capable sides for both domestic and European, think we have a window of 2 seasons and then this vision might start to falter

Might almost be better doing a Chelsea and finish 3rd in CL group and go all out for Europa :hide:
