I often fancy a hot steak sandwich but then am always disappointed when it falls

steak. A decent rump steak should be good enough - if in doubt, slice it thinly.

having them butter like tender. Cold though, so might not be applicable.

then grill / fry for a few minutes both sides. Allow to rest. Cut to suitable sandwich slices. Serve on white bread.
