Plenty of good young managers around. Just not so vociferous in wanting him out.

that you might want him out. I said for years we had one of best managers in the world and with now him willing to spent he lead us to winning glory this season. The man a f**king genius mate.

Only manager I can think of that I'd want is Klopp, and that's literally it.

I disagree entirely with his view of how the club should be operating and find his hatred of Wenger perverse, but he DOES want the club to do well above everything else.

Although I'm not sure there was ever a better example of a poisoned chalice.

None of us will ever know until there comes a time for change.

Most people suffer with complacency in performance related work, which is why chairman and boards are constantly re shuffled.

I'm only suggesting that it may not quite be the doomsday scenario that many predict.

Just thinking long term more than anything. Was more pointing out that I don't see these 'plenty of young managers' that must be the result of 7even's fevered imaginings.

I was referring to your saying that there were 'plenty of good young managers around'. Where are they?

afforded by the superclubs?
They can't all be crap. Rogers seems to be whittling Liverpool slowly into shape. Lambert seems to have an intelligent approach, Martinez has been consistently courted.
Who knows what Laudrup could achieve on a huge budget.. and that's not even looking at talented managers in other leagues.

It's just a bit churlish to write off other managers, who may never get the chance because of an unswerving devotion towards one.

Grampus 9 wasn't exactly providing AW with a stand out CV at the time Dein pulled him in. How many die hard AW fans had even heard of him at that point ?

e.. Has changed Bayern for the worse so far, although it's still too early to judge that project properly.

Mourinho is arguably the world's best right now, but I wouldn't want him at Arsenal.

Ancelotti is quality but not on Wenger's level, imo.

Benitez. Eh??

I guess as well as Klopp you have Diego Simeone, but from my very limited football knowledge that's about it.

with any of them. Klopp only one who can improve players really but still nowhere near arsene level of that.

From evidence of bayern so far pep made them worser at the back and playing players out of posistion such as lahm in midfield. Rafa only good in cups and carlos only good with quality players.

We got the best of the best really.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we didn't have a truly world class manager already at the club when we decided to bring in Wenger now, did we?

And come back to me re: Rodgers when he's actually managed to improve their league position.

Martinez 'being courted by many'??? Who exactly? Liverpool last year? And how is that an indicator that he is top quality, exactly?

Lambert looks like he might be doing something special with Aston Villa, but we are the Arsenal ffs. We have a once-in-a-generation manager, and you lot want to get rid of him for Paul f**king Lambert???

The sentiment of what was written got completely lost.

For what it was worth GG left some pretty big shoes to be filled, if we want to discount the embarrasing filler that was Rioch..

Going by the most basic metric (league position) Wenger has yet to let us down.
