Is the kind of summer that anyone expected - I still don't think we look like title winners and as seen on Sunday one injury and its back to square one - wenger can't have been given all the funds we think he has at his disposal - It's going to be a long slog until January...sorry....

But if this is a sign of things to come (and Wenger stays) then there's no reason we can't be challenging next season

Ozil is an incredible signing and a brilliant player but it has to be said this summer has left a few questions unanswered.

Why are we spending pver 40 million on a midfielder and scrabbling around t the last minute for a loan deal on a striker after spending the whole summer looking for one?

Why have we left ourselves short of cover in defence amd in forward positions? Why have we signed a keeper on loan? What is happening there?

Ultimately our squad is too small. While the ozil deal appears to suggest that the financial climate has changed pur other activities on deadline day seem to question this. The collapse of the ba deal at the last minute underlines the risk we took in leaving things to the last minute.

Its a 50/50 summer overall. Ozil rescued it from being a disaster.

Still....quite exciting isnt it :-)

we almost signed Suarez. What a summer that would have been. As we stand now, our squad is not balanced. Guess the club must be thinking Ba in the bag. That special one is a lowly scum of human being.
