net about £30m but their wage bill must have rocketed. It will be interesting to see thier financial reports later in the year.

Yes their wages would have gone up, but they were preparing to offer Bale ~200k a week and have replaced him with Lamela at 75k/w. Dont forget they also let go Huddlestone, Parker and Dempsey.
So not sure if its "skyrocketing".

unless they are all on £20k a week?
there were three others outgoing and 4 incoming. So a marginal hike in their Wage budget is my logical conclusion ...
