overly long and gruesome violence scenes, but somehow compelling and gripping. Some interesting support characters.

And, while the main character was annoying, he was somewhat of a blank slate so easily ignored. Overall very compelling stuff and the action choreography wouldn't have seemed out of place in a Hollywood film
