ahead. Even ed miliband said he back the war if un backed it.

I think personally this vote was a mess that was unneeded. Why try to quickly lauch strikes without thinking through how you plan to deal with the aftermarth.

I say to obama to just take a breather. We all want to do something about assad and don,t want to do nothing . But launching strikes won,t help any short term issues in syria.

Much easier, but the removal of Mubarak and Gaddafi has shown that sometimes the devil you know....

but their probally as bad and dodgy as them all.

In end this vote sums up lack of good thinking of cameron and clegg going ahead with this vote without waiting to see what the un said.

Obama launching strikes would just be plain stupid. a few strikes on buliding will leave few dead but won,t hurt assad long term and will just leave to more in syria homeless.

Intervention makes things worse, and encourages more wars. The impulses to get involved are all about the feelings of ignorant bystanders, who know little about the complexities of the conflicts they want to meddle in, because it will make them feel better by chucking some bombs about.

Also, never trust an atrocity story, especially when it is well known that certain leaders will happily latch on to it as a justification for getting involved in something which boosts their authority when they have little at home.

see obama going gun ho over this without going to congress. I dislike cameron but at least he put vote to house of commons.

Before and maybe they felt a little human sacrifice was needed to garnish support from abroad....oil and religion don't mix and have proven a bad recipe in this region....I hate the fact that we are so reliant on the region for our energy needs
